MONTANA: Jordan will be starting for his third season in 2014. His record as a starter is 20-6. hs 20 career wins tie him with Craig Ochs (2003-04) for the sixth most ever at UM. He begins his senior campaign ranked fifth in school history with 53 touchdown passes and ninth in career passing yards with 5,831.
2013: He passed for 3,387 yards and 32 touchdowns, which are the fifth and fourth (tie) highest totals in single-season history at Montana. He was ranked second in the Big Sky Conference and ninth in the FCS in passing efficiency at 154.7, throwing 32 passing TDs with only five interceptions. He was ranked fourth in the league and 21st in the nation in total offense at 271.9 yards a game. His 260.5 passing yards a game ranked him fifth in the conference and 15th in the country. He was ranked among the FCS top 20 in several other categories: fourth in passing yards per completion (15.40); sixth in passing touchdowns (32); 11th in total passing yards (3,387); and 15th in points responsible for (192).
He set a Big Sky single-game passing efficiency record of 322.3, when he was 15-of-19-0 for 354 yards and five TDs at North Dakota. (The old record was 310.4, set by Eastern Washington's Mark Tenneson in 1992).
He was named third team All-Big Sky. He was named Montana's Steve Carlson Award (MVP) co-winner, sharing it with senior linebacker Brock Coyle. He passed for more than 300 yards in five games.
2012: He did not participate due to personal reasons, and was a redshirt.
2011: He passed for 2,400 yards and 21 touchdowns, and was an honorable mention All-Big Sky pick. He tied a Montana single-game record with six TD passes in a 45-10 home victory over Weber State. His 21 touchdown passes rank him 14th (tie) in single-season history, while his 2,400 passing yards were the 22nd most in a season. He was third on the team in rushing (506 yards). He started in 13 games (he missed the Northern Colorado game due to an injury).
2010: He played in six games as a true freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: He was a prolific quarterback at Sheldon High School and tabbed Oregon's 6A "Player of the Year" as a senior. He amassed 11,337 yards in total offense and 134 career touchdowns in his career. As a senior he passed for 3,508 yards and 46 TDs, and rushed for 1,091 yards and 20 TDs. Career-wise he threw for 8,188 yards and 84 TDs and rushed for 2,903 yards and 46 scores. His head coach in high school was his dad, Marty Johnson.
CAREER HIGHS: He passed for a career-high 388 yards in a 42-35 home setback to No. 11 Coastal Carolina in a second round FCS playoff game last season. His career completions and attempts highs were 26-of-44-0 in a 42-37 home loss to No. 3 Eastern Washington last season. He tied a school record with six TD throws against Weber State in 2011. He rushed for a career-best 102 yards in a 17-14 home victory over EWU in 2011. His career-long pass was an 80-yarder at Tennessee in 2011 - the eighth longest (tie) TD throw in school history. His career-long run is a 54-yarder for a TD at Sam Houston State in a FCS semifinal game his sophomore season.
